Md. Jonab Ali opened this book shop. He started to import books from India in 1952. The outlet was at Govt. Dhaka New Market, Bangladesh . He also opened another outlet in Bangla bazaar for text book publishing. He did take care both outlets very well at the same time with his honesty and hard working.
Then his wife Mrs. Noor Akter had been taking care of this "Import & Sell" business since 1974. It was a passion that his wife shared with this business. After 20 years successfully managed this business by her, Ideal Library has become well known book importer, exporter, distributor and retailer in Bangladesh . She was the sign for Bangladeshi woman to involvement in business.
Now this business is being managed by their youngest son, Mohammed Nurul Afsar (Prince) as managing director.
